Natix® and Natix® White are irregular and porous granules made of commercially pure (c.p.) grade-1 titanium. The granules are 0.7–1.0 mm in size. When mixed with patient’s

blood or saline, the capillary forces make them stick together. The tita

nium surface is highly thrombogenic and thus helps forming a stable blood clot around the granules.

The granules, having a porosity of 80 per cent and an osteoconductive surface structure, mimic the properties of human bone, creating a scaffold for bone growth that stimulate osteoblast colonization and osseointegration. The granules are non-resorbable and keep their volume during surgery and throughout the healing period ensuring mechanical sta

bility and a satisfactory esthetical outcome.

Natix® is easy to use. No special tools are needed. When osse

ointegration is completed you can use normal drilling techniques when you place implants in the treated region.

The original Natix® is intended for sinus lift procedures

and other posterior applications while Natix® White is preferred for aesthetic applications in the anterior parts of the jaws.
